J Allcocks and Sons. For over 40 years we have supplied recycled rubber back into the industry. With our own crumb and granulation facility we offer a full recycling service. We are able to collect cured scrap rubber, grind it to whatever size is wanted, and supply it back in whatever packaging is required. In 2004 we achieved ISO 90012000. Time and again we prove that we can, not only reduce the amount of cured rubber waste going into landfill, but can also show that there are large economic and technical benefits to be gained.

BD Technical Polymers. We are a small and flexible compounding company in the UK. We now also mould rubber on site using compression and injection presses. Our expertise is in mixing compounds to the highest quality ensuring very good dispersion. We feel that we would be able to offer the project our expertise in mixing and formulating compounds using the recyclate material and hence producing high value products. We would be most useful to this project in converting the recyclate into compounds which could be subsequently used to produce useful products. This is the ultimate aim of this project. Our interest in this project is to utilise this recyclate in producing high quality compounds at competitive prices. This is more relevant now as we are entering a climate on which raw materials prices are going to be high and availability tight. We are a small company with limited resources and so our contribution will be time and use of our manufacturing facilities.
